Both held high-level positions in healthcare sales focused on long-term care, Rothert as a vice president for sales and technology; Magers as a sales director. They designed Mediprocity to bridge the gaps and delays in communication via fax and phone that many healthcare providers and companies used.
Mediprocity capitalized on technologies readily available to users, as well as the growing need to encrypt patient health information in order to prevent data breaches.
Once established formally in 2009, Rothert and Magers recruited a top notch medical advisory team. They joined forces with Beverly Hills Capital Partners, a large group of highly trained physicians in multiple specialties. The first physician to join the management team was Ram Dandillaya, M.D. a cardiologist at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. Dr. Dandillaya quickly recognized the need to protect and speed up communication in healthcare. Shortly after, David Ng, M.D. joined the management team and began to actively organize the medical advisory team. Dr. Ng is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine at Cedars-Sinai.
Today, Mediprocity is surrounded by a medical advisory team that reaches into multiple specialties across the country as well as business advisors in all facets of medicine. This core is working to forge strategic partnerships with those that seek to build a system to help improve daily communication amongst healthcare professionals.
